 Elmhurst is blessed with a wonderful local symphony that is celebrating their 48th year with the 2007-2008 season. Recently honored as "Community Orchestra of the Year" by the Illinois Council of Orchestras, it continues to reach new heights of excellence under the direction of Stephen Alltop. Their concerts are held in Hammerschmidt Chapel on the grounds of Elmhurst College but their offices are located in our church. All the administration of the symphony takes place here.
