A Special Invitation From Our Heritage Bunch

On Wednesday, April 24, our Heritage Bunch is hosting a wellness chat with Dr. Kelly Synowiec-Moroney. Dr. Kelly will be addressing how each of us can prevent and reduce the effects of Osteoporosis. Her presentation will include what foods are best to eat and what supplements help. Please join us in the church parlor.

"A Festival of Hymns"
Piano and Organ Duet Concert
Saturday, April 27 at 7:00 pm
Sunday, April 28 at 2:00 pm
Come join us for a musical event filled with some of the most memorable hymns arranged for piano and organ. Jim Molina will perform on the piano along with our programmable Berghaus Pipe organ some exhilarating arrangements of “Ode To Joy”, “Lift high the Cross”, “Battle Hymn of the Republic”, and many more. Each piece will have a spoken narrative of the origins of the compositions.
There are only 40 seats available per concert so order your ticket right away! All tickets must be ordered and reserved.
The Saturday evening concert will be $25 to attend and there will be a wine and cheese reception to follow. Our Sunday afternoon concert will be a free will offering (no reception).

Green Garden Fair and Seedlings Sale Pick Up
Saturday, MAY 11th, 2024 9:00 am to Noon
While you are there, visit with our many exhibitors who will share with you how to live more sustainably. New this year, bring your garden tools, kitchen knives and scissors and Custom Edge Sharpening will sharpen them for you. Prairie Wind Native Plants, a local native plant nursery, will be bringing a selection of native plants for home gardeners.
You’ll find Children UP sharing with our community the work they’re doing to provide education to youth in Uganda, the Garden Works Project sharing what they do to provide fresh produce to food pantries and the Illinois Solar Education Association who will answer your questions about solar panels. Some favorites will be back again this year too. The University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners will be there as will “Caroline’s Birdie Tweets” who will be selling bird seed ornaments. City Bee Savers will be selling local, raw honey and Sustain DuPage will be giving out heirloom pole beans. That’s just a few of the many fun things that will be happening at the Fair so you won’t want to miss it. All proceeds go to benefit Church Ministries.

We’re thrilled to announce our 10th Annual De Colores Camp, inviting your children to join from
July 29th to August 2nd, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm daily.
Open to kids entering Kindergarten through 5th grade, the camp combines interactive methods, including practical conversations and singing, to introduce Spanish. The week is packed with fun activities that nurture language learning, cultural appreciation, cognitive skills, and empathy. Lunch is included.
