Sunday Worship 10:00 AM elmhurstucc@sbcglobal.net
We are excited and grateful to be able to worship together again! The safety of our members and visitors continues to be our priority. As part of returning to in-person worship, all are required to wear masks and maintain a 6ft distance in the pews. During our welcoming procedure, we will ask you to sign in and have your temperature taken. Seating in our Sanctuary is limited and reservations are recommended. Additional seating will be available in Fellowship Hall if needed. We have implemented these precautions based on the State of Illinois guidelines and will update as necessary.
Please know that we are here for your spiritual needs. Please send a prayer request and we will include you in our prayer chain. If you need a call please let us know. Our prayers are with you now and always.
The best way to reach church personnel is to email or call the office. Select the icons below.

Our worship is both traditional and contemporary. We are rooted in the traditions of our faith but seek fresh and creative expressions for today.
First Congregational has a rich legacy of mission work. We respond to God’s call to know and love our brothers and sisters in our community and around the world.
Every group at First Congregational is different and unique. Some share a meal or study a book, but the main goal is to share a life together, serve and draw closer through care, connection, and events.
We are individuals with hopes, dreams, questions, and fears. We are stressed-out parents trying to lead lives that express our values. We are children needing positive connections to form our life’s foundation. We are friends holding steady through each other’s peaks and valleys. We are a community of imperfect people following the teachings of Christ.
We are called to act as Global Citizens, aware of the ways we are connected to all of God’s Creation. We intentionally seek to nurture the light of God within and share it in a complex world that needs healing. We believe God’s love is inclusive and unconditional.
We believe in Christ and Christ’s work of redemption and reconciliation in every generation. This is why we are committed to listening for God’s “still speaking” voice for our lives and in the world today. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here. We believe in extravagant welcome and our communion table is open to all who seek to know God’s grace and Christ’s presence. We advocate justice for all including the environment and believe the church’s mission changes lives.
