    On Sunday, September 13 a few of our youth leaders will be spearheading our in-person outdoor service. Although this service will in no way have the participation that we have had in past youth-led worship services, we thought it important to have a few youth lead us as it been our tradition on the second Sunday of September. As it has been for every outdoor service, our top priority is the safety of those that are present. So we will be taking all precautions by having everyone sitting 6 to 8 feet apart and wearing face masks. We look forward to having you join us on September 13 at 10:00 a.m. for our Youth-Led Worship Service.

    Mike invites you to read and discuss, Speaking of Sin – The Lost Language of Salvation, by Barbara Brown Taylor. Contrary to the prevailing view, Taylor calls sin “a helpful, hopeful word.” Naming our sins, she contends, enables us to move from “guilt to grace.” We will meet by Zoom on September 17 and 24 from 11:30 to 12:15. On September 17, we will focus on chapter 2, on September 24, we will focus on chapter 3. Reading is not required, please join the discussion if you can.
