In it Together: Discovering the Art of Blessing One Another in Friendship and Community
Join us for a conversation on how to strengthen and deepen our friendships and relationships. In the fragment, frenzied world we share, a meaningful connection can be rare and the gift of presence feels elusive. Discover how to strengthen our connections with God and one another as we discuss what it truly means to be blessed and practice the art of blessing one another.

Join us on Saturday, May 11th from 9:00 to noon in Fellowship Hall. We will be selling locally grown, organic vegetable and herb seedlings for your summer garden. You’ll also be able to pick up food scrap amended compost to help your plants flourish – bring your own containers. We’ll have Master Gardeners available to give you gardening tips, and free range eggs you can take home. Get some delicious pastries from Synapse House “Flour to Empower” Bakery and receive green gardening/green living tips from local environmental action groups.
All Middle Schoolers and their friends are invited to an outing on Sunday, May 19 from noon – 2:00 p.m. Together we will enjoy bowling and lunch. Friends are welcome, please just have completed permission forms for them too. Permission Slips are available in the church foyer.
Parents, please send each middle schooler with $10.00 to help with the cost.
Join us again this year as we march in the Elmhurst Memorial Day Parade. The parade will step off at 9:30 on Monday, May 27. We’ll need lots of marchers to help us pick up recyclables from parade goers, pass out milk weed seeds, share with families news of our upcoming De Colores Program and escort our Clutterbug down the street. It’s a great way to start the holiday. We will be gathering near York and Third Streets at 9:00 a.m.
