Large Seed Heads, Great for Pickling
Annual herb. Dark green finely cut foliage with excellent dill flavor. Yellow flowers. Blooms in summer. Grows 30-36” tall by 12” wide. Harvest foliage as needed. Harvest seeds 2-3 weeks after flowering. Seeds used in pickling and vinegars. Fresh and dried leaves used in salads, stews and sauces.
Placement: Good in herb and vegetable gardens.
Care: Full sun. Plant in well-drained, loamy soil. Keep evenly moist. Plant 12” apart. Annual except in zones 10-11.
