A sweet basil with large, dark red to purple leaves. Blooms in summer. Grows 18-24” tall by 8-12” wide. Use fresh or dried.

Placement: Highly ornamental, this basil is great for the landscape, containers or herb garden!

Care: Full sun. Needs moist, well drained soil. Regular water use. Mulch around the base of the plant. Plant 6-8” apart. Zones 10-12.
