Upright heads of smooth, crisp green leaves. Inner leaves are whitish. Slow to bolt. Harvest in about 70 days.
Uses: Delicious in salads, especially Caesar.
Care: Part shade to full shade. Somewhat heat tolerant. Plant in evenly moist, loose, fertile, sandy, well-drained soil with organic matter added. Provide adequate moisture to help prevent bolting. Plant 8-12” apart.
