Origanum x majoricum

Aka Hardy Marjoram. Perennial herb. Fragrant, round, soft green leaves have a strong flavor. Small white to pink flowers. Blooms in late summer. Grows 15-24” tall. Commonly used in Italian dishes. Leaves used fresh and dried.

Placement: Good in containers and borders.

Care: Full sun. Plant in average, well-drained soil. Water sparingly; too much water causes root rot. Zones 5-10.
