Great Storage, Superior Flavor

Winter squash. Tan-colored fruit has sweet, nutty flesh. Stores well. Harvest in 85-120 days; when fruit stems begin to shrivel.

Uses: Delicious cut in half and baked; or try them peeled and chopped then steamed or sauteed.

Care: Full sun. Best in warm (at least 60 degrees F), fertile, aerated soil with compost added. Keep evenly moist. Water deeply during dry spells. Water early in the day to prevent foliage mildew. Squash is a heavy feeder; fertilize monthly. Space 3-5’ apart in all directions.
