Classic Sauce Tomato, Great for Canning

Solanum lycopersicum

Bright red, pear-shaped, meaty fruits with few seeds. High yielding. Does not require support. In fall, cover to protect from frost. Determinate. Harvest in 70-78 days.

Uses: Good for paste, sauces and canning.

Care: Full sun. After danger of frost, plant in well-worked, well-drained soil. Keep evenly moist. Fertilize when planting and when plants begin to bloom. Space 18-24” apart in rows of 36-48” apart.
