Christmas Cantata 2018
A joyous celebration through story and song was performed on December 23rd, 2018 at First Congregational, UCC Elmhurst. The Chancel Choir under the direction of Jim Molina presented a unique cantata combining traditional carols with contemporary stylings. Lead vocals by Meg McGarry and featured singers, Michelle Maiers (soprano) Tim Kirby (tenor) and Bradley Kirby (baritone) along with the Chancel Choir. Dave Benziger added his virtuosic guitar playing to such instrumentals as “Miraculum” and “Faith Noel”. It was a seasonal delight preparing for the uplifting and inspiring Christmas Eve service celebrated the next day.
